After earning a public relations/marketing degree from Middle Tennessee State University, I decided to move to Huntsville, Alabama, to be closer to family. I thought it would be a temporary stay at best. Twenty-five years later, I’m still here and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m sure I speak for many others that have re-located to the North Alabama area, “We’re here to stay because it is a family, friendly environment.” We are surrounded by lakes and nestled against the foot of the Appalachian Mountains. The area is great for fishing, boating, hiking, trail riding and very well for hunting multiple games in this area.

During my 20 years as an agent, I also worked as the Sales & Promotion Manager with The Huntsville Times. This position provided me opportunities to partner with many business & community leaders on multiple projects throughout the years and watch them grow into events that Huntsville and North Alabama are known for today.

While at The Times, along with city leaders, we assisted in the re-location of the AMCOM facility from St. Louis to Huntsville. I became involved with the families that were moving here and helped them to see that North Alabama was a wonderful and exciting place to live. I realized that what I enjoyed most was meeting new people and being excited about helping them make their dreams a reality.
